Scientists have discovered what female ejaculation is made of

‘Squirting is essentially the involuntary emission of urine during sexual activity.’

Whilst male ejaculation is simply a fact of life, female ejaculation (or ‘squirting’ as it’s known in pornier circles) has remained a bit of a mystery.

In fact, until very recently, nobody even knew exactly what women were ‘squirting’ out.

But thanks to a study by a group of French scientists, led by Samuel Salama, a gynaecologist at the Parly II private hospital in Le Chesnay, we now do.

The team worked with seven women ‘without gynecologic abnormalities’ who nonetheless reported ‘recurrent and massive fluid emission during sexual stimulation’.

And here’s what they discovered:

Firstly, they discovered that the liquid was coming from the bladder – even when the bladder had been emptied immediately prior to sexual stimulation.

Secondly they discovered (and given the first discovery, this shouldn’t come as a great shock) that female ejaculation is basically urine… sometimes mixed up with an enzyme called a prostatic-specific antigen (PSA).

So there you have it – when a woman ejaculates during sex, she basically has a little wee.

Happy we got that straightened out. ...MetroUK
