The Presidential candidate of All
Progressives Congress, General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) on Friday
promised to correct the alleged misrule of Nigeria.
He stated that the Peoples Democratic
Party had misgoverned the country for about 16 years, adding that the
APC was committed to ensuring that it addressed the developmental
challenges of the nation.
Speaking in Lokoja, the Kogi State
capital on Friday during the APC’s presidential campaign, Buhari
promised to put an end to insecurity and frontally fight corruption.
Buhari also promised that if he becomes President, he would resuscitate
the Ajaokuta steel manufacturing complex such that it would create
massive jobs for the teaming unemployed youths in Nigeria.
