PRESIDENTIAL candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC),
Major-General Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, said the party’s patience is
on trial, aftermath of the postponement of the general election.
This came just as stakeholders in the party vowed to resist any
further shift in the polls rescheduled to hold on March 28 and April 11.
National leader of the party, Senator Bola Tinubu, who led those that
were against further poll shift, added that the party would not
tolerate further postponement of the general election.
This came to fore at the party’s joint leadership meeting in Abuja,
where evaluation of the party’s efforts in its electioneering was
carried out.
The event also showcased a video footage on how the 2014 governorship
election in Ekiti State was allegedly rigged by the Peoples Democratic
Party (PDP) in favour of Governor Ayo Fayose, with the help of the
security agencies.
