Gerard Pique is set to snub a return to Manchester United to seal a switch to Chelsea in the January transfer window.
Pique, who has fallen out of favour at Barcelona, had been lined up by United for a big money return to Old Trafford in the new year.
But reports in Spain say the powerful centre back has now decided to join Chelsea instead, with a move to the Blues looking likely to go through soon.
Jose Mourinho has already made a £23.6million offer for Pique and while Barca are yet to accept it, they are open to letting him go and all parties now expect a switch to happen. ...Metro
