Accord Party adopts Jonathan as presidential candidate

The National Working Committee of the Accord Party, AP, Friday adopted President Goodluck Jonathan as its candidate for the February 14 Presidential election.

The party also announced its opposition to the shifting of the February 14 Presidential election.

Addressing a world press conference at its National Secretariat in Abuja, the party’s National Secretary, Adisa Oladapo Nureni stated that: "We (Accord Party) wish to associate ourselves with those in this country who are saying a tacit no to the growing moves to shift the date of the elections."
