World football governing body, FIFA, has extended its deadline to ban Nigeria from all football competitions to Friday.
FIFA had initially threatened to sanction the country on Monday if the crisis rocking the Nigerian Football Federation was not resolved.
This followed a ruling by a Jos High Court Judge, which sacked the board of the NFF, after declaring illegal the election of the Amaju Pinnick board.

The suit was instituted by Chris Giwa, whose initial suit had led to the suspension of Nigeria by FIFA from football competitions shortly after the World Cup.
