Keshi confirmed as Super Eagles coach, calls up IK Uche for AFCON qualifiers

Stephen Keshi has officially been reinstated as the Super Eagles coach and he has recalled Ikechukwu Uche to his squad, that will play South Africa and Congo in the remaining two Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches.

The Villareal frontman was Nigeria’s best striker in Europe last season, but has been frozen out of the national team set up by Keshi for almost two years.
There is also a recall for Sunshine Stars’ Solomon Kwambe and first call ups for Dolphins’ Emem Eduok and Tony Edjomari of Nasarawa United.
Nigeria face Congo in Pointe Noire on November 14 and then host South Africa on November 19.
