The All Progressives Congress in Ekiti yesterday said it will reclaim
its mandate stolen by Governor Ayo Fayose, adding that the people of
the state will vote him out.
In a release, the party’s Publicity
Secretary, Taiwo Olatubosun, noted that, “people in general now stood on
a superior moral ground to retrieve the stolen mandate to install a
purposeful government led by former Governor, Kayode Fayemi for Ekiti’s
development.”
The party disclosed this as a reaction to the audio
video released by an online medium, Sahara Reporters allegedly claiming
how Governor Ayodele Fayose; a one-time Minister of State for Defence,
Mr. Musiliu Obanikoro; Senator Iyiola Omisore; Minister of Police
Affairs, Mr. Jelili Adesiyan in conjunction with the military allegedly
rigged the June 21 gubernatorial election in the state. ...DailyPost
