VICE President Namadi Sambo has thrown his weight behind the creation of Gurara state from the present Kaduna State.
Speaking on Thursday in Kagoro, Kaduna State, at the annual Afan
festival, he expressed his personal support for the creation of the
state.
The vice president expressed sympathies of the Federal Government
over the loss of lives and property in the land and assured that “in
order to forestall and secure the area against unwarranted attacks and
senseless killings, the Federal Government is committed to setting up a
military formation soon which will ensure the provision of adequate
security.”
He also assured the people that the evil of insurgency would be defeated for the sake of peace and development in the country. ...NigerianTribune
