FG declares January 2 as public holiday


The Federal Government has declared Friday, January 2, 2015 as public holiday to mark Eid el Maloud after it had earlier declared January 1, 2015 as public holiday to mark the New Year.


Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Makaji Abdulahi, Moro urged Muslim faithful and all Nigerians to pray for the peace and unity of the country.
