Nigeria international Vincent Enyeama has been adjudged the best
goalkeeper in Ligue 1 for 2014 by prestigious French newspaper L’Equipe.
The former Enyimba goalkeeper was selected as the league’s best
goalkeeper last year despite Lille’s stuttering start to the 2014-15
season that sees it languishing in the 13th place in the 20-team table.
Enyeama has played in every minute of Lille’s 56 league matches since
he returned from his loan spell at Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv in
2013.
This is the second successive year that Enyeama has been selected as Ligue 1’s most outstanding goalkeeping talent by L’Equipe.
