Nigeria Bombings: Borno equips private schools with scanners

BORNO State government has equipped some private primary schools with scanning devices in order to beef up security in schools across Maiduguri metropolis.

Chairman, Committee on the Resuscitation of Primary School Education System, Dr. El-Nur Dongel, while presenting the scanners to some primary schools, on Friday, said the presentation was to ensure security within the schools.

He said the gesture was to complement efforts of the schools in ensuring security at the entrance of the schools, while urging the management of the schools to always be security conscious.
