Stephen Keshi, Super Eagles Head Coach at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, said on Tuesday that he was not served with a draft copy of the Super Eagles contract to enable him continue as Coach.
Keshi’s comment came on the heels of a statement credited to the NFF president, Amaju Pinnick, that Keshi would be shown the drafted copy of the contract between Monday and Tuesday. Amaju, had disclosed to newsmen in Abuja on Monday that Keshi would peruse the document within the stated days to enable him sign a new Super Eagles contract on Wednesday.
The “Big Boss” as Keshi is popularly called, noted that the Super Eagles Technical crew were still owed two months’ salary and allowances contrary to the position of the NFF president that they have been paid.
“They still owe my assistants and I; the NFA still owes us salary arrears for two months. The football house has also not paid us our winning bonus away to Sudan during the AFCON 2015 qualifier.”
“My assistants and I are still alive and, Amaju Pinnick is telling people that he has paid us all our money; he knows he owes us money,” Keshi added.
