Gernot Rohr has been appointed as the new coach of Burkina Faso, ahead of Stephen Keshi and former Ghana boss Milovan Rajevac.
The
61-year-old German made the final three-man shortlist alongside the
African managers and was eventually picked as Paul Put’s successor.
Keshi, who was keen on the Burkina Faso job, is currently not attached to any team, as his contract with the Super Eagles expired after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
