Cristiano Ronaldo's former girlfriend Irina Shayk admits to feeling "ugly" next to Real Madrid star

Cristiano Ronaldo’s former girlfriend has admitted to feeling “ugly” and “insecure” alongside the wrong man in a thinly-veiled attack on her football star ex.

Russian model Irina Shayk also fuelled rumours she had dumped the Real Madrid striker over alleged infidelities by describing her perfect man as “faithful and honest.”

She told Spanish society magazine Hola in an interview: “My ideal man is faithful, honest and a gentleman who knows how to treat women.

“I don’t believe in men who make us feel unhappy, because they’re boys not men. I thought I had once found the ideal man but it didn’t turn out that way.”

She added: “I think a woman feels ugly when she’s got the wrong man at her side. I’ve felt ugly and insecure.”

Claiming it was best to end a relationship unless it was going well, the Victoria’s Secret beauty told the magazine: “Relationships are hard so you have to know what type of man you want by your side and what their values are, what is important in his life.
