Wife of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress,
Mrs. Aisha Buhari, yesterday assured Nigerian women of empowerment if
her husband, is elected in the forthcoming presidential election.
Mrs.
Buhari gave this assurance at an event to commemorate the International
Women’s Day at the APC presidential campaign office, in Abuja.
Buhari’s
wife, who was represented by the wife of the Nasarawa State Governor,
Hajiya Mairo Al-Makura, pointed that APC’s manifesto had a lot in stock
for the Nigerian women.
While urging all Nigerians to vote for change, Mrs. Buhari asked the
womenfolk to continue to mobilise efforts towards the March 28
presidential poll.
