Seven years after releasing his last album, music star Akon is set to release five albums simultaneously this year.
According to the singer, the release of the five-part concept album titled, Stadium, is to make up for lost time.
The artist, who released the news on his twitter handle, said his “new effort will span five albums with each rooted in a different musical genre.”
Akon’s website is already streaming one single from each disc. They include, “better” featuring Niko the Kid, “To Each His Own”, “Just A Man” featuring Stephan Marley and “Feeling a Nikka” featuring D’banj.
