Jennifer Lopez changes her name legally after her ex-husband Marc Anthony re-marries.

Jennifer Lopez hasn’t actually been Jennifer Lopez for years – but now she is back after legally changing her name back on the last day of 2014.

The On The Floor hitmaker has actually been Jennifer Muniz after she took her then-husband Marc Anthony’s surname when they married in 2004.

While she’s continued using her ‘stage name’, in her personal life Jen has been Mrs Muniz (Marc’s real name is Marco Muniz) but now it’s been revealed that she changed it legally on December 31, 2014, according to TMZ.

Jennifer and Marc split in July 2011, with the 'On The Floor' hitmaker later dating dancer Casper Smart, who she separated from in the summer
of 2014.

Jennifer admitted recently she felt like she was "going to die" when her marriage to Marc broke up in a new documentary where she breaks down over the split.

J-Lo ended her seven-year long marriage with third husband Marc, three years after giving birth to their now six-year-old kids.

"That wasn't my dream. My dream was for us to always be together," she told cameras as part of the show, according to E! news.

"You never want to break up family. There's no pain or failure like going through a divorce. That hope, that dream, that fairytale, with that first time that dream gets blown to pieces, you feel like you're going to die."
