Novak Djokovic led the way with victory over Mate Delic as Serbia raced into a 2-0 lead over Croatia in the Davis Cup.
Viktor Troicki of Serbia also won a five-set match against
Croatia's Borna Coric - the teenage sensation who eliminated Andy Murray
from the Dubai Open. Croatia were without their top ranked player Marin
Cilic, the US Open champion.
Swizterland, minus Roger Federer and Stan Wawrinka, ended the first day of action tied 1-1 with Belgium.
