Why did Facebook BAN this photo of mum's bum as she gave birth but allow Kim Kardashian picture? Milli Hill, who posted the image on a 'Positive Birth Movement' page, called the decision hypocritical.

Facebook BANNED this image of a mum's bottom as she gave birth - but had no problem with Kim Kardashian's famous nude pose.

The picture - uploaded to a page promoting positive images of birth - was removed by the social network because it breached standards over 'nudity'.

Milli Hill - who posted the photo - described the decision as hypocritical, especially given the reaction to the recent Kardashian photoshoot.

The reality star set the internet alight when pictures of her nude on the front of Paper magazine emerged last week.

Ms Hill said: "A pair of well-oiled buttocks can moon quite happily into every living room, but on the very same day the identical body part – albeit part of a different woman - can enrage the censorious amongst us."

The row has sparked plenty of debate online, with many slamming Facebook's 'censorship'.
