The Commemorative Centenary banknote was unveiled today at the Villa in the presence of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and the CBN Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, presenting us with the specimen of the new N100 note.
Publication on the new note will be sent by CBN to banks, Chambers of Commerce and the Police on the 26th of November 2014.
On the 3rd of December 2014, leaflets on the new note will be sent to 1,000 POS, including reminder about adapting devices.

The issuance of the new N100 note into circulation will begin on the 19th December 2014.
