When Hayleigh Mcbay dumped her boyfriend for an April Fools' Day prank, the last thing she expected was for him to agree with her.
She messaged him on WhatsApp to announce that she did not want to be his girlfriend anymore, expecting to freak him out.
Hayleigh said: "I don't want to be with you anymore. I am not happy."
He agreed. He replied: "Thank God you said it first so I didn't have to."
Hayleigh seemed shocked by his response.
Luckily, she later found out that he hadn't meant it after all. Her boyfriend realised that she was playing an April Fools joke on her and decided to give her a taste of her own medicine.
A lesson to those who think it is funny to play with people's emotions on April Fools' Day.
