Top seed Novak Djokovic overcame a wobble to beat Martin Klizan at the Miami Open on Saturday.
The Serb won the first set to love but then lost the second
before closing out a 6-0 5-7 6-1 win and he will next face Steve Darcis
who beat Gilles Muller 6-4 6-7 (2-7) 6-3.
Djokovic, the winner in
Indian Wells last week, said experience helped pull him through a tricky
opening match of the tournament.
"Credit to Martin for battling and making me play the extra shot," he told the official ATP website.
"It was a pretty different game in the second set than it was in the first. I
have been in these particular situations before many times in my
career, and the experience obviously helps just to regroup and find a
way."
