The Technical Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, (NFF)
will hold a meeting on Tuesday to discuss the future of the embattled
Super Eagles handler among other issues
The committee will meet in Abuja to discuss issues relating to the
future of the Super Eagles’ technical crew among others pertinent
issues.
The Vice Chairman of the NFF’s Technical and Development Committee,
Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf Fresh told Goal that the committee has a lot of
issues to address but the most pressing of them is the fate of the
senior national team handler.
Yusuf hinted that the NFF does not want to join issues with anybody
concerning the future of the technical crew headed by Stephen Keshi
whose contract expired at the end of the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil.
“We are going to be having a meeting of the technical committee on
Tuesday February 10 and many far reaching decisions will be taken
regarding the future of the country’s football. We will talk about the
contract renewal of Stephen Keshi and that of his assistants among other things,” Fresh told Goal.
