Top-flight football in Turkey has been suspended for a week following the gun attack on Fenerbahce’s team bus on Saturday.
Although the players escaped unharmed, the driver was injured
after the bus was attacked in the city of Trabzon while making its way
to the airport after Saturday 5-1 victory at Caykur Rizespor.
And
following a meeting with the country’s sports ministry on Monday, the
Turkish Football Federation has announced league and cup matches have
now been suspended.
