Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge will remain on the sidelines after the club confirmed he has suffered a fresh thigh injury.
Sturridge had a scan on the injury he suffered in training earlier this week and reports suggest he could be out until the New Year.
The 25-year-old has been sidelined since suffering a thigh injury while playing for England in their 1-0 win over Norway on September 3.
He has played in only three Premier League games this season, scoring his only goal in Liverpool's 2-1 opening day win over Southampton.
Sturridge returned to training after the initial injury, only to suffer a calf problem, but he had been in line to return against Crystal Palace on Sunday until the most recent setback. ...SkySports
