Kanye West has shown his appreciation for his wife's figure in a seriously public way. The rapper took to twitter where he posted NAKED pictures of Kim Kardashian and gushed: "I'm so lucky". 

Alongside the gushing posts were snaps of Kim in a state of undress with her hands carefully covering her modesty.

Thugs attack Buhari’s wife’s convoy in Ilorin

The convoy of Aishat Buhari, wife of Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, was on Monday attacked by suspected political thugs in Ilorin, Kwara State.

Aishat and some APC women were returning from a visit to the Emir of Ilorin, Ibrahim Zulu-Gambari, when the attack took place. They were in the city for a two-day voter education summit for women in the state.

It was learnt that no one was hurt in the incident that left no fewer than 10 vehicles in the convoy damaged.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers aiming high after win over Swansea

Brendan Rodgers is targeting the top four and beyond after Liverpool’s 1-0 win at Swansea on Monday evening.

Jordan Henderson’s goal midway through the second half at the Liberty Stadium was enough to move Liverpool within two points of Sunday’s opponents Manchester United in fourth.

“The aim is to finish as high as we can, the aim isn’t just to finish fourth,” the Liverpool boss told Sky Sports. 

Jonathan, wife planning to kill me –Father Mbaka

Enugu-based Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has alleged that President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience, were planning to kill him over his criticism of the Federal Government and his opposition to the President’s re-election.

Mbaka, in a new video currently trending on YouTube, made the allegation during a sermon he delivered in his church.

The congregation erupted in a howl when Mbaka said, “President Jonathan and his wife are planning to kill me.”

A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of sending a racist tweet aimed at Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck.

The post was made after Welbeck netted the winning goal during an FA Cup quarter-final clash against his former club Manchester United on 9 March.

Presidency Sponsors Anti-Jega Protests As Plot To Remove INEC Chair Thickens

An investigation by SaharaReporters has revealed that President Goodluck Jonathan and his associates are masterminding a spike in protests against Attahiru Jega, the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Numerous sources within the president’s circle disclosed that Mr. Jonathan has accepted the advice of hawkish members of his kitchen group to ask Mr. Jega to proceed on terminal leave next week.

In order to prepare Nigerians and the international community for the imminent sack of Mr. Jega, President Jonathan approved the distribution of N200 million in each zone of the federation to mobilize protests against the henchman of the electoral body. The spate of orchestrated protests started last week on a small scale in Nigeria’s capital of Abuja, then moved to the southeast where members of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), staged several large-scale protests demanding Mr. Jega’s removal.

OPC, Jonathan Campaigners Lead Lagos Anti-Jega Protest

The Oodua Peoples Congress and the Goodluck Jonathan Campaign Organisation in Lagos on Monday morning led other protesters to storm the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, demanding the sacking of the Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Attahiru Jega, before the March 28 elections.

The bus of the campaign group and the members of the OPC, who massed at the 7UP/Toll Gate end of the expressway, led the protesters, who were chanting anti-Jega songs, giving reasons why Jega should be sacked.

Floyd goes back to basics for Pacquiao

Floyd Mayweather has gone back to basics as he prepares for his welterweight showdown with Manny Pacquiao. Mayweather appears to have taken inspiration from Sylvester Stallone’s training routine in Rocky IV as he prepares for the May 2 super-fight with his Filipino rival.

Tinubu Confesses He Helped Make Jonathan President In 2011 By Betraying His Own Candidate

A frontline leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, at the weekend confessed he betrayed his own candidate for President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2011 presidential contest.

In that contest, Mr. Jonathan was in competition with General Muhammadu Buhari of the Congress for Political Change, but also with Nuhu Ribadu, the former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, who was the flagbearer of Tinubu’s Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).

Curiously, while the candidates of the ACN did very well in the legislative and gubernatorial elections, Ribadu was trounced in all but one of the ACN States by Mr. Jonathan.  Observers have always suspected that Tinubu, who was known to have flown to Abuja to meet with the president just before the election, was bought off to give victory to Jonathan in the area. 

Van Gaal says Di Maria is free to leave Man United

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has said that he is prepared to let Angel di Maria leave Old Trafford if the player has become unsettled after an attempted break-in at his home.

The intruders were foiled but the incident unsettled the Argentina international to such an extent that he has moved his family into an apartment owned by the former United defender Phil Neville.

Van Gaal, when asked if he would let Di Maria leave on compassionate grounds, said: "I am always like that. When you see my history, that's part of my philosophy. A player is not just a man who kicks the ball from A to B. His environment is influencing him."

Schalke eye move for Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira

Schalke's president has revealed the club have opened talks with Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira over a possible summer transfer.

Germany international Khedira, who has been beset with injury problems this season, is out of contract at the end of June and expected to leave the Bernabeu on a free.

The 27-year-old has been a reported target for Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United, but it appears as though the Bundesliga club are winning the race to land him.

Bloodbath in Benue

Suspected Fulani herdsmen numbering about 70 on Sunday slaughtered 95 people, mostly women and children   in Egba, Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State.

A survivor, who gave his name simply as Oche, said the herdsmen arrived the village between 5am and 6am and started attacking them in their houses.

Oche did not give the number of those wounded but he claimed to have seen 80 dead bodies being evacuated by security operatives and volunteers.

He said,“They came with arrows, locally-made guns and knives when most of us were still asleep and started killing us. It was a very bad day for us. I believe that those killed are between 95 and 100 as I counted up to 80 bodies being taken away by people in uniform.”

Two Loud Explosions In Maiduguri

Two loud explosions were heard yesterday evening around 9:56 p.m. in Maiduguri, capital of Borno State. The explosions came the same day that three bombs were discovered at a market earlier in the day.

The loud explosions were followed by the sound of gunshots, but details of the specific location of the explosions as well as possible casualties and damage remained unclear.

Mourinho positive despite draw with Southampton

Jose Mourinho was keen to focus on the positives after Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw by Southampton.

After the disappointment of their midweek Champions League exit at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea were looking to move eight points clear at the top of the Premier League and took the lead through Diego Costa in the 11th minute.

However, Dusan Tadic levelled from the spot eight minutes later and Mourinho’s players found Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster in inspired form as they failed to find a winner.

The Chelsea manager admitted he wasn’t happy with how his players responded to the equaliser, but insisted the draw was a positive result after title rivals Manchester City lost at Burnley on Saturday.

We rejected Jonathan’s dollars, says Arewa community

Hundreds of Arewa leaders who received Kano State Governor, Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, in Lagos on Sunday, said they rejected hundreds of thousands of dollars which was offered to them by President Goodluck Jonathan when the President visited the state two weeks ago.

The leaders, who were drawn from the 20 Local Government Areas and 37 Local Council Development Areas of the state, distanced themselves from the endorsement given to Jonathan by a group.

Wayne Rooney is disappointed a video of him "knocked out" while boxing with former team-mate Phil Bardsley was attained by the media.

Rooney, who responded by celebrating with a boxing move and 'KO' after scoring in Manchester United's 3-0 home win over Tottenham on Sunday, insists the incident should have remained private.

My Husband Must Complete Two Terms – Mrs. Jonathan

The wife of President Goodluck Jonathan, Mrs. Patience Jonathan, on Saturday said her husband would remain in office for eight years to complete his two terms in office.

Mrs. Jonathan said this during the Peoples Democratic Party women rally under the auspices of Women for Change and Development Initiative in Benin, Edo State. She was accompanied by national and state leaders of the party.

A mild drama ensued shortly before the ‎President’s wife’s address when two men, said to be aggrieved PDP youths, tore down some banners bearing the image of the President’s wife.

Fire guts INEC’s electoral institute

The Independent National Electoral Commission’s Electoral Institute in Abuja has been gutted by fire.

The fire which began at about 11pm on Saturday destroyed bags, envelopes, election forms and electrical control panel/ switch   in the institute’s warehouse before it was contained at 2am on Sunday.

Before INEC spoke on the incident, there was   apprehension, especially in Abuja on Sunday that some sensitive materials for the March 28 and April 11 general elections might have been affected by the inferno.

Elderly nun gang-raped by bandits as she tried to stop them from stealing

A nun aged 72 has been gang-raped by bandits as she tried to stop them stealing from a convent. The senior sister is in critical condition after she was attacked when up to a dozen attackers who broke in to the building at around 1am this morning.

They tied up several nuns as they began to steal from the Convent of Jesus and Mary School, in Ranaghat, India.

Manchester City’s hopes of defending their Premier League title were dealt a severe blow as they were beaten 1-0 by Burnley at Turf Moor.

The damaging defeat leaves the champions five points behind leaders Chelsea but having played two games more. And they can only have themselves to blame after another sub-standard display against Burnley, who are now just a point from moving out of the relegation zone.

Ex-teaching assistant had sex with schoolboys at family home while husband was at work

A mother-of-two who had sex with schoolboys at her family home has avoided jail. The former teaching assistant, Emma Webb, 44, romped with the youngsters on the stairs and on her living room floor.

She also lured "inexperienced" boys, aged 15 and 16, into her car for steamy sex sessions in a "disgraceful" abuse of her power, the court heard.

Webb texted the boys, telling them to leave lessons, and would lead them to a deserted maths classroom at a Wokingham school where she performed oral sex on them.
