Bruce Jenner, now Caitlyn Jenner shares HER side over marriage breakdown: "I got mistreated"

 

Caitlyn Jenner has revealed that she gave up on the marriage between Bruce and Kris Jenner mostly because of the way she was “treated”.

While momager Kris Jenner feels that her husband ‘just decided I’m done now’ at the end of their 23 years together, Caitlyn says it wasn’t really because of her gender issues that they fell apart but because of how the momager treated her throughout their marriage.

In a telling interview with Vanity Fair, the 65-year-old opens up as to why she felt that their marriage fell into decline, as they both admit that Kris Jenner’s passion for Keeping Up with the Kardashians and the family’s brand took over.

“He was married to me and he wasn’t who he wanted to be so he was miserable… All I was doing was working very hard for my family so that we could all have a wonderful future, and he was p*****d off,” Kris told the magazine.

“At the end of my relationship with Bruce he definitely had a lot of social anxiety. That was one of the reasons we were in a struggle at the end.”

During the interview, Kris insists that Bruce did not make his gender struggle clear to his wife, although she did know that he had taken hormones in the ‘80s.

“Twenty per cent was gender and 80 per cent was the way I was treated,” the former Olympian (Caitlyn) says.

Caitlyn said: “She had her own money, she didn’t need me as much from that standpoint. The relationship was different. A lot of times she wasn't very nice. People would see how I got mistreated. She controlled the money... all that kind of stuff.”

“I think in a lot of ways she became less tolerant of me. Then I’d get upset and the whole relationship kind of fizzled.”

Kris still feels like she doesn't understand her ex-husband's transition.

"Why would you want to be married and have kids if this is what you wanted since you were a little boy? Why would you not explain this all to me?" she asked rhetorically.

Caitlyn claims in the interview that she had an understanding with Kris - when she was her husband and identified as Bruce - that she was not able to cross dress at their marital home but could when she travelled alone.
