Arsene Wenger believes Gary Neville is paying the price for his inexperience.

Neville is fighting to save his job as Valencia coach with Saturday’s trip to Real Betis a critical test for him.

And the Arsenal boss thinks Neville, and the likes of Pep Guardiola, have missed a vital part of their education by being fast-tracked into top jobs.

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has revealed he sent a text message to Jose Mourinho to say sorry after the former Blues boss was sacked.

"I sent him the message to say I was sorry he had gone and … well … just that I was sorry," Hazard told The Guardian . "I felt a little bit guilty because I’d been player of the year and this year I’d performed less well."

Rafa Benitez approached to replace Gary Neville at Valencia

Valencia have approached Rafael Benitez about replacing Gary Neville at the Mestalla, according to Sky Sports Spanish football expert Guillem Balague.

Neville has come in for intense scrutiny this week after his Valencia side suffered a 7-0 defeat in their Copa del Rey semi-final first leg against Barcelona.

The pressure on Neville, though, was beginning to mount before Wednesday's humbling at the Camp Nou, with the former Manchester United defender still without a league win after eight attempts.

Zika virus: Outbreak 'likely to spread across Americas' says WHO

The Zika virus is likely to spread across nearly all of the Americas, the World Health Organization has warned. 

The infection, which causes symptoms including mild fever, conjunctivitis and headache, has already been found in 21 countries in the Caribbean, North and South America. 

It has been linked to thousands of babies being born with underdeveloped brains and some countries have advised women not to get pregnant.

No treatment or vaccine is available.

Former Chelsea boss, Ancelotti eyes PL return

Carlo Ancelotti has revealed he wants to work in the Premier League again and plans to return to management in January.

The former Chelsea boss has been out of work since being sacked by Real Madrid in the summer and then undergoing a back operation.

Speaking to Corriere dello Sport, he said he hopes to be back in January and would like to manage again in England.
