Manny Pacquiao ready to retire after one more fight!

Manny Pacquiao has given the strongest hint yet that he will retire from boxing after one last fight.

The 36-year-old (57-6-2-KO38) lost on points decision to unbeaten American Floyd Mayweather in May and having undergone rotator cuff surgery since, has been giving serious consideration to his future in the sport.

Pacquiao has been a congressman in his native Philippines since 2010 and confirmed earlier in the week his bid for a senate seat in national elections to be held in May next year.

Pacquiao has said he wants another fight but when asked if he would retire soon, he told ABS-CBN: "I think I'm ready. I've been in boxing for more than 20 years. I prayed to God for guidance and I am happy about it.

"I will have to give up the other things that require my attention. If you are a senator, your focus should only be your job and your family."

The likes of former gym-mate Amir Khan have expressed an interest in facing him.

And the Filipino admits he is in the dark over a possible rematch with the supposedly-retired Mayweather.
