David Moyes wants to return to the Premier League

David Moyes is ready to return to the Premier League but only after completing his managerial rehab stint in Spain. Moyes says he will see out the final year of his contract with Real Sociedad, despite being wanted by English clubs.

West Ham and Newcastle are among the Premier League clubs keen to lure Moyes back to England this summer, but the 51-year-old has vowed to stay in La Liga.

“I’m enjoying going to different stadiums, I’m enjoying working with different players, trying to learn the language, the culture,” said Moyes.

“So I couldn’t turn around and say I’m missing the Premier League at the moment, no. But obviously it’s where I’ve done most of my work and in time I’ve no doubt I’ll go back there.
“At this moment in time I’m really enjoying my time at La Real. I’m working here and that’s what I want to do.

“I’ve come out here, the opportunity was right, the time was right, so I want to do that. I want to learn out here and understand Spanish football and players better.”

Since taking over at Socidead on November 10 last year, Sociedad have moved up three places under him, with seven wins in 21 La Liga games - the high point of which was a 1-0 win over Barcelona in January.
